Sitting on the steps

Kyoko sat on the front steps of her house with her skate board slowly sliding back and forth underneath her foot.she let out a sigh of boredom and started blasting music with her earphones. she looked to the left and looked to the right, no one was there. seeing that no one was near enough to hear her, she began to sing.

((i know this sounds pretty lame but my character is suppose to luv singing but she's too shy to sing infront of ppl so she sings when no ones there))

Kani was walking through Konoha, not fully sure why she was still here. She should have been back home but she didn't really want to leave. She was about to pass a street when she heard someone singing. She quietly walked down and stopped a couple feet from a girl who was sitting on her steps, singing.

Kani stood there silently, listening to the girl. She put her hands in her pocket and focused on a spot on the ground, just listening to the girl.

ohh...i hope no one heard me, better make sure

Kani looked up at her, and then noticed that she had accidently squated down behind a bush. She stood up and stepped around it, so that she was about a meter from the girl.

"You're really good," she said quietly.

Oh...well, i thought no one was around, that's why i sang outloud. i didn't know someone was listening. omg, i must've sounded like is was trying too hard ><

*looks at her slightly surprised*

"You really are good..."

well, i 've been singin songs since i was a little grl so i wouldn't really make sense if i was horrible.

Kani nodded, looking up at the girl. She poked a rock with her foot.

"I used to sing as well, although I was never any good..."

She smiled kindly.

"You are really good though..."

*forgets that she styll had her ipod on when Private Dancer comes on and blast in her ear a bit too loud*

*pulls her earphones out of her ear*

Kani looked at her.

"What's wrong?"

*laughs a bit*
i forgot i had my ipod on and blasted in her ear.
*sets down her earphones and turns up the volume so she could listen to music without sticking earphones in her ear*

Kani shrugged and sat down, looking at the girl.

"I guess...thanks."

Kani took it and started flipping through, she stopped once she realized she wasn't sure what she was doing. She handed it back to the girl.

"Uh...you pick. I don't want to press something and accidently break it."

"You can sing if you want, I won't listen," she said quietly.

no, i don't mind if you listen, i mean you already heard me sing before so there's to be afraid of. i'm jus worried if there are any other ppl
