Shopping For Clothes

Lee was leading Kankuro by his sleeve through Suna till they reached the town area where the shops were. She pulled him into a costume store because she could only afford fake attire. She looked through the plastic jewelry and the goblin loin cloths before going to a catalog and looking for things the amount she had.

"what are we doing in a costume store"

"It is all I can afford...." she continued scanning through the catalog. "...I am in need of a new uniform because...." she stopped and looked at a pirate outfit oddly and then turned the page, "....my current uniform is rather....explicit if you know what I mean. It is not the most covering of clothes." she said while glancing down at herself.

dragged her out and brought her to a real store "ill pay"

"Huh? But-wait I cannot allow you to do this! I can barely afford earrings in here. It will be a long time before I can repay you." she frowned and tried dragging him out.

dragged her back "i dont want u to repay it a kind gesture for protecting my brother" he smiled

She looked at him trying to understand but felt her stubborness weaken a bit when he smiled at her. He was being nice, not pittying her. So she nodded and asked, "You must help me decide which one to get then! SInce I have allowed you to pay for it-you must advise me on what to keep!" she said with a smile waving a finger infront of him before dashing off to find something.

stood there waiting for her to try on some clothes

She came back with a pile but started putting some on the side before he could look and narrowed it down to 3. She fled into the dressing room and came out in a black vest with a lime long sleeve shirt beneath and some baggy pants.

Then she changed into a sparkly one piece that made her dizzy and stumble back behind the curtains.

She finally came out in a short no sleeved shirt that folded across itself like a kimono top. Her bandage wrap around her chest was visible and it kept her stomach showing. The pants were capris and the whole outfit was a fine shade of green

"the first one?"

She looked at it and saw the price was too much for her to ask of him and held out the other two. "Um...I do not like that one. CHoose between these two please." she dropped them in his arms to look at while she slipped back into her shoes and looked at the shoes in display cases.

"the greenone"

She peeked at the lable and let him take it while she stood gawking at the shoes in display cases. One had shinguards attached but these were finely made and were to her liking. She knew they'd match with something she had at home but didn't want Kankuro paying for it. She had just barely enough for the shoes and hid them behind herslef waitting for him to finish paying before she purchased the shoes.

he quickly got crow to get the shoes and put them with the clothes "anything else u want" while he paid for them and gave it to her

She huffed and shook no before waitting for him outside.

he came out

She stood up and tugged him by the collar, "You must let me buy you something! I will not know how to live with myself if I let you spoil me like this!" she paniced with a look of shame having to use Gaara as an excuse to be rewarded.

"i wanted to do it no problem"

"Why would you want to do this? What makes you think I deserve this?"

"u do u kept my brother safe and that sometimnes isnt easy"

She crossed her arms, "I wonder why you are the only one who acknowledged that. I have been here a while but I seem to be nothing special like the people who hired me had said. It was a bunch of bologna."

"ha thats cause they havennt seen gaara on his bad days"

Lee yawned and looked around to see if there was a deli she could get a sandwich from for the night. She walked slowly in search of one dragging Kankuro along by his sleeve.

She got a sandwhich and gave him half before heading towards the mansion.
