Standing At Your Own Funeral

He looked at the demon statue, not going within five feet from it. He gave a sigh. "If the Akatsuki came now I will have signed myself up to 'Take your Demon Away and Kill You' day.." He looked around. "This is soon to be my death scene.."

*poofs beside him*

"You're really easy to fallow, y'know that, meow?"

*looks at the statue*

"Ah! What is that thing?!"

*sits down like a cat*

"It's ugly."

He looked at her, then looked at the statue. "It's my death bed.."

*looks around, already understanding what he meant*

"Is it the Acat-su's?"

"Yes.." He looked down. "That's right.. and once they capture me and preform the jutsu needed to take my demon away, Shukaku will be sealed in this statue, giving the Akatsuki another demon to get closer to their plan for world domination.." He closed his eyes and thought about it. "If I let them take Shukaku, I would be helping in there plan.." He opened his eyes and glared at the statue. "Wars will start, the Akatsuki will have the ultimate weapon, made up of the Jinchuriki's demons from the many villages.. I don't want that to happen." He made fists. "I wont let them take Shukaku from me.. I wont die here.."

*nods, not completly understanding*

"I won't let them steal your Shukaku, meow. Even if he is mean."

He looked at her. "Thank you, we can't let the Akatsuki get what they want.."

*points to the sky*

"Because they're bad, meow!"

*puts hand down*

"Even though one of them is your cousin..."

*points hand up again*

"But they're bad!"

"They are very bad, and if we want to have freedom in the future I know what must be done.." He looked away from her.

"What has to be done?"

He looked at her. "You need to kill me.."

*breathes in*

"Nope."

He looked away again. "There will be a ritual, did Temari not tell you of it..?"

*shakes her head*

"What, meow? I don't know what a ritual is?"

He sighed. "You will see sooner or later.."

"That's good, meow!"

*smiles*

"no...gaara...cant die..."

"Wait, what's the ritual for again?"

"Nothing.." He sighed. "It's all okay, let's just forget about it.."

*smiles*

"Ok, I was scared for a minute there, meow."

He gave a low sigh, hearing words in the back of his head but shoving them away. "Neko.."

"Yes?"

He closed his eyes. "...I-I... don't want to.. I never realized it until now, but I.. I.. I'm... scared.."

*she lightly smiled, happy that he finally opened up to her about his feelings*

"It's ok."

*hugs him*

He looked a bit shocked, then sighed and hugged her back. "I'm sorry.."
