The first date

-he walked into the ramen shop as he held kani's hand and sat down on a stool as he asked for some miso pork ramen-

Kani lets go of his hand and looks away from him.

I have to tell him...if I dont...well...I don't know what Malenko is going to make me do so I...I just need to tell him.

Turns and looks at him.

"I'm really glad we're here but I want to tell...I need to tell you something before we get all happy that we're together."

-looks deepky into her eyes-
"oh...ok what is it?"
-he asked looking curious-

Fidgets with this random bracelet on her wrist.

"You know how sometimes I'll get all quiet and then you'll ask what's wrong and then I'll just say nothing, but I'm acting like im not?"

says this very fast "I died and then got reinarnated and now I'm a basicly a living, talking, breathing, walking puppet."

-he took a moment to sort through the incredibly fast sentence through his head-
"i...i see...and if theres a puppet there must be a puppet master...who is it in this case."

Bites her lip.

"Malenko."

"And where may I find this malenko?"
-he asked looking into her eyes even deeper-

"Why?"

So I can try and get you your life back"
-he said simply-

Shakes her head.

"No, it's fine. I have my life back. I'm not really a puppet...I just didn't know how else to explain it. Don't worry, I'm all right. Can we get off this topic?"

I shouldn't have told him...

"I cant live knowing that this "malenko can kill you at his whim my love...i must meet him and talk to him...please..."
-he pleaded-

Shakes her head again.

"Never mind! It's alright! He's not going to do anything to me!"

She sighs and stares at the floor.

mummbles "Maybe it wasn't the best idea to tell you...but I had to tell someone."

"well i still love you, and i still want to be with you..."
-he said as he hugged her-

"Same here but-"

Stops herself as she realizes that she was about to bring it back to the subjet.

"What's your favourite colour?"

"a tie between black and red, why?"

Doesn't respond to the 'why?' question.

"Cool. For me it's a tie between purple and red and black."

-smiles and kisses her gently-

(she's doing a really bad job at changing the subject)

Kisses him back and hugs him.

"What's your favourite animal?"

"I dont know but I still want to know where i can this malenko because if hes anything like what i think he is, now that youve told me his name he'll kill you"

Sighs and looks up at him.

"No he won't, and please get off the subject. I shouldn't have told you anyway."

Pulls out of his hug and turns away.

-hugs her again-
"The girl I've fallen in love with is a zombie being controlled by a necromancer and you expect me to drop it?"
-he said simply-

"I'm not a zombie and a necromancer is someone evil."

Narrows her eyes even though she's not looking at him.

"And he's not controling me. I can do whatever I want but when he has a job for me I have to do it."

Cringes.

Stop talking you idiot! Stop talking!

She bites down on her lip, hard.

"And what if you fail a job?"
-he asked immediately-

"I haven't and I won't."

"Its what if you do somehow fail one, is what im worried about kani"
-he said with his eyes beginning to tear-
