Baby Kuro's on his way!

Hitori laid sadly on the bed. Now with Ryu gone she has the responsiblity of raising this baby alone. That wasn't the reason why she was sad. She was more sad because the baby would never get to meet their father.
((OOC: KANI I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER IF YOU COME TO KEEP ME COMPANY))

Kani walks down the hall until she gets to Hitori's room. She pauses outside, giving her a seond to compose herself. The first time she's seen her friend in four years and it's because she's having a baby. Kani sighs and knocks lightly on the door before poking her head inside the door.

"Hey Hitori," she said quietly, smiling warmly.

"Hey Kani. Long time no see." The sight of her old friend made her feel a bit better. "I'm sorry that it's been so long."

Shakes her head as she steps in and sits in the chair next to Hitori's bed.

"Not your fault at all, mine entirely."

If I hadn't been so sucked into my depression I could have come and seen you.

"Well all that's important is that we're here today right?" She said while trying to force even just a half smile on her face. She couldn't do it.

Kani smiles faintly and nods.

"How are you?"

Hitori let her eyes wander around the room. She looked at the ugly walls and how boring the room is. "Okay as I could be under these circumstances." Then her snapped backk to Kani as she let out a faint smile. "But was I ever really okay?" Her eyes then started to wander again. "How have you been? It's been, what four years now? Something interesting had to have happened to you."

Kani shrugs, not taking her eyes off of her friend.

"I'm glad that you're well."

She smiles faintly.

"Well, as well as you've ever been."

She smile wavers but she manages to keep it in place.

"Nothing exciting has happened to me, unless you want to count that I got a cat."

"Four years go by and all that happened is you got a cat? I think that you're hiding something from me." She looked at Kani suspiciously.

*he knocked on the door and sighed* "damnit ryu" *he whispered to himself*

She glanced up, pretending not to hear Hitori's question, as she see's Raku come in.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

She realized that she should reply to Hitori.

"No, I'm not hiding anything."

*he looked at kani and hitori the two people he barely knew*
"news really"

She stood up, internatly fighting the urge to leave, but she stayed for Hitori and the fact that her suspisions were probably off.

"What news?"

"the child...i will be taking him when he is older"

Hitori knew exactly what Raku was talking about. "Raku... I'm not giving you Kuro. Even if it was Ryu's wishes."

"its not permanent just a few weeks this is something every yamato must go through but only when he is 13 its just 3 to 4 weeks"

Kani took a half step back, slipping into a half crouch.

"You're not getting near her," she growled.

Kani suddenly felt very protective of her friend and her friend's child.

*he looked at kani and raised an eyebrow*
"sit down....you wouldnt stand a chance"
*he growled back then turned back to hitori*
"i will not force this it is your son...however he will have these urges that you or anyone else can stop"

Kani clentched her teeth together not, moving.

"Well that's in the future, and the baby's not even here. Why are you putting stress on something-someone-that's not tecnecly here yet."

(if that makes any sense...)

"it makes more sense to let someone know ahead of time then to spring it upon someone at last minute"
*he looked at kani*
"NOW SIT DOWN"
*he screamed at her*

She didnt even flinch as he screamed at her, instead she took half a step forward.

"It may make sense but you could have told her after he was here. So that she wont be under too much stress."

*he narrowed his eyes*
"...it doesnt matter...ive said what i came to say....i think everyone is abit stressed"

She laughed sourly.

"If you've said what you've wanted to say then get out."

She glared at him.

*he wanted to tear her from limb from limb* "heh any other day girl"

(niiiice Has Raku recognised her yet??)

Kani slowly and telibertly turned her chair around, which was right in front of Hitori, and sat down. She still glared at Raku but she felt as though she would kill Raku(yes she knows who he is)if she stood any longer.
