Clearing my head...trying to think

Kani sat on a ledge high up in the moutain, hoping that the cold air would make her thoughts less confusing. She sighed and put her head between her knees and tug her nails into the ice.

Asuran is nice and sweet and will do anything for me...but Ich is nice and sweet and will do anything for me also but...I feel as though my happiness around Asuran is just an act.

She lifted her head and brushed her hands off on her red jacket.

I'm more happy when I'm around Ich...he makes me feel like nothing happened four years ago. But what about Asuran...maybe I just rushed things with him.

She groaned.

This air isn't doing anything to help!

Ich was playing on his guitar, playing 'Diary of Jane [acoustic]'

Kani looked over, saw Ich, and blushed a little. This was the first time since she had taken him to the hospital that she's seen him. She stood up and walked over to him.

"Hey Ich, you're really good."

She sat down in front of him on the ledge.

"Thanks" Ich says blushing a bit as his purple hair flows in the direction that the wind's blowing in

Kani dropped her gaze to the snow.

This isn't like being with Asuran...I feel naturaly happy with Ich but with Asuran I feel as though I'm putting on an act. Maybe Ich and I won't end up like Asuran and I curently but I at least think that Asuran and I should jsut be friends...

Ich was let out his hand and touched the snow, causing the snow to melt and then he says with a grin on his face, "It feels great to be human again, and I owe you my eternal gratitude Kani"

Kani looked up at him and shook her head.

"You could-"

She stopped midsentence, knowing what he would say.

"You don't own me anything."

"If you don't tell me what I could do to make it up for you, I will try to come up with a way to pay you back..." Ich says truthfully

Kani looked back down at the snow and started to make a snowball.

"There's nothing you can do. Just being alive and well is good enough for me."

She looked up at him and smiled.

"But... can you please tell me what you were going to say, or I might get a wrong impression..." Ich says as he puts his guitar on the snow beside him, and he lays back onto the snow

Kani moved so that she was sitting beside him.

"No, I was just going to say that you could have gotten out of there yourself. But then I know what you would have said so I stopped myself."

"I don't even know what I'll say sometimes" Ich admits, "but you are right, I could've gotten out of that myself... in the next millenia..."

Kani emmits a har laugh.

"Wow, I thought that you were going to restate and restate that you couldn't get out without me."

She stared at the snowball in her hand then threw it over the ledge.

"You motivated me so much to get to become human state again... if you haven't been such a good friend, I wouldn't have gotten to become human faster again..." Ich says with a smile as he brushed his hand over to his left and back revealing that something just grew from seed to flower in one second... it was a white blending with pink flower that was rising out of the ground like magic

Kani looked at the flower, her face blank.

"You became human...because of me? I mean, you were going to eventualy but how did I make you decide to become human sooner?"

"You were the first person I told about my vampireness... and you accepted me... I was overjoyed to have someone just accept me by who I am... on the inside... and you even helped me to save myself... At prince's... the nails were too strong for regular vampires, and when I saw that you were about to die... I jumped and saved you... and if you weren't there... I would've had no motivation to escape... and I would've been eaten alive..." Ich says quickly

Kani heard him, despite his quickness. She was totaly repulsed and glad that she had been there. She laid back on the snow and stared up at the white/grey sky.

"If you need help with anything else...you know I'm right here."

"Likewise" Ich says with a smile before his hair started changing colors... it suddenly changed to light brown... Ich then says to Kani, "can you turn your head around... I'm going to go to my human self again...as in human appearance..."

Kani turned her head and looked the other way.

He told me about being a vampire...I should tell him about being a puppet. But one person in danger is enough...I shouldn't.

Ich suddenly transforms into his old self, like he was a 0 AD...

"Can I turn back yet?"

"Its ok" Gaiya says as he noticed that the snow on Kani's shoulder wasn't melting, so he asked, "Um... why isn't the snow melting on your shoulder?"

Kani laughed as she turned to look at him.

"Maybe it's because I'm so cold."

She stared at him, marveling.

"You look amazing."

She ran her hand through her hand through his hair but then stopped and blushed.

"Sorry."

"It's alright..." Ich says as he looks at the sun setting

Kani stared at him for a second, then turned and blushed.

"I like how you look human...it seems more natural."
