Cloud's runaway

Cloud was in the middle of nowhere by now, and came to a sudden stop. He got off the bike and picked up Neji and threw him to the sand, now taking out a capsule and smashing it onto a dry part of the ground.

Before they knew it, a battalion of darkling soldiers (15 of them) spawned from the ground. That'll slow her down, he thought as he threw another capsule at the ground and jumped back, letting the tower ascend from the sand and take shape in the hot air. He cloaked his bike under an invisible tarp and dragged Neji into the tower, leaving 3 more battalion capsules to spawn more Darklings.

Neji stared as he was dragged. "Stop this now!"he yelled when he was fully awake.

He slammed his fist on the top of Neji's head. "Oh, be quiet. We're almost to the top." He said as he climbed the spiral staircase.

Neji winced. He stayed concious,but was dizzy. He looked around to find out where they were.

Lee had tended to her wounds before drinking some water and preparing for take off. She started out slow, and as she neared the spawning soldiers, she picked up the pace. She propelled herself up into the air and landed in the middle of the first 15.

"There is no time to waste. So-good riddence!" she swung her foot and a great wind threw up the sand beneath their feet. While they were blinded, she took them down one by one. She then grabbed two by their heads and tossed them overhead so that they knocked the second group over. As the other two groups advanced on her, she spun about on her heel and slowly created a gust that swept them off their feet and onto each other. Lee dizzily fell over a soldier who was face down on the ground and barfed from the previous attack.

"Oh....I did-it...." she moaned with as much enthusiasm for her success as possible but found herself on her back. She looked around at the surroundings and smiled feeling more at ease since this was the terrain she was familiar with. Seeing the tower, she nodded to herself before taking a swig of tonic she carried around for just in case purposes. Her minor wounds healed completely while her body went numb to ease the pain of her more severe ones and concentrated chakra at her feet so she could catch up.

She looked up the spiral staircase and heard the echoing of their footsteps. She wanted to slow them down knowing she needed to stall Cloud and tossed her last paper bomb kunai up at the stair case above them. The pieces crashed down upon the other stairs and nearly hit them while she sneekily made her way up.

Neji noticed something but was quiet. He'd just wait for Cloud to stop dragging him up the stairs. He sighed. "Who are you after?"

.............Cloud knew she was there. He neared the top of the tower when he stopped and took out another capsule. He smashed it to the ground, spawning a man-sized demon. "Okay, Hitaro, take care of the intruder." Cloud said to the demon. The demon replied happily; "Ruh-ruh-ruh Righty then, boss!" It said as it dashed down the staircase and tackled Lee down to the bottom.'

Hitaro clawed at Lee while they both fell from the 200 story tower, and when they hit- The demon's fist grew into steel and he slammed it into her neck, creating a crater at the zero-level part of the tower. Hitaro then dragged Lee out of the tower and threw her into the air, whilst summoning a sand twister the size of an oak tree in front of where Lee would land, and instead of landing on the sand, The sand twister picked her up in it's storm and tore her apart. Hitaro cackled.

He looked at Lee get hurt and shook his head. "No! Wait! Stop that thing! I'll help you! You said if I help you you'll leave her alone."he said angrily.

Lee emerged from a heap of soldiers having hid after being thrown and tossed up a soldier. She was gasping for breath desperately but looked at Hitaro from behind and then at her hands.

Once more and then...I am done!

Her bandage wrapped tightly around Hitaro keeping him still and with what energy remained, she thrusted him against the tower and ran to him and thwapped his head so that it broke his neck where a bone stuck out.

"Do not-huff-underestimate the Kazekages body-guard..." she fainted giving the impression she was dead.

Hitaro was still and stiff. Until he snapped his bone back into his neck and stood up. "N-n-n-n-n-never underestimate a colonel of the Darkness Eternal Squadron planet!" he said as he cackled again and summoned a huge ion cannon, ready to pulverize her in a hearbeat.

Cloud suddenly landed on the ground from the top of the tower with Neji on his shoulders and yelled at Hitaro "Stop! Bring here here alive, Hitaro." He said as he put Neji down and walked to Lee, his gunblade in his hand.

"I have to congradulate you, kid. Not everyone can survive Hitaro's first attack, because he makes it so harsh, as you have noticed, Ha!" He laughed softly and placed his hand on her cheek. "But I warn you now. Interfere again with our agreement and I will have Hitori finish his work." He said to her as he opened a capsule and let Hitori jump into the small space, back to his planet.

She looked as if her limbs were being held together by her clothes but was only that messed up. Her eyes were rolled back and her chest barely rose for every gaping breath taken. Inside she was aware of her failure and that was what made her hurt the most.

Cloud grunted and mounted his bike. "C'mon, Neji." He said as he drove to Lee. He glanced at her carefully and looked away. He then drove off into the sunset.
