Following a scent

Neko had been wandering around for a few days now looking for Kani. She had been following the faint scents she had left from where ever she had walked and finally, Neko trailed her to this village. As a cat, she peeked into the gates, shivering. This place was slightly creepy and unlike anything she had seen in a while.

Kani had nothing better to do that day then go out. The sun was a little too bright for her liking but it didn't really matter. Passing the gates that lead into the Shadow Village, she saw a cat just walking in. She turned and looked at it.

"Neko? What are you doing here?"

"Meow?" Her head shot up and she turned into her up-right, grinning. "Kani-san! That was easier then I thought, finding you that is. Your pretty easy to trail, huh?" She made the 'peace' sign, looking very cute in the process. "I came to see you house, meow!"

Kani stared at her and nodded.

"You want to see my house...Why?"

"I saw your old house in Kirigakure with your daddy, but now that you have your own house, well, I'd like to see what you've done with it." She grinned and waved her hands about. "And isn't it right that friends see eachother's living quarters, meow?"

Kani nodded again.

"Uh huh...well..."

She glanced around, feeling a little weird about the fact that Neko was in the Shadow Village.

"It's really nothing, seriously."

She pouted. "But I brought you snacks and everything. And what if, in an emergency, I trace your scent back to your house but when I get there, I can't tell you about the emergency because I'm so caught up in the seeing of your house. That would all be avoided if I came right now." Then she grinned. "And, I've never been to the shadow village before, meow."

That's a good thing. The Shadow Village isn't somewhere I would expect to see you often. Lots of supernatural things here...

Kani nodded again.

"I guess that makes sense..."

She turned and took a couple steps.

"You coming?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" She said excitedly and skipped after her.

And through the magic of RPGs they were immediately teleported to Kani's house, ALL IN THE SAME THREAD! WHOO-OOO-OOO!!

And now Kani will answer back with a post when they just arrived at her house.

Kani lead Neko up a short little path with dead grass on the either side and up to a small, on level house. Kani slowly unlocked the door and wondered whether she should have put Kago away. But Neko had seem him before so it didn't matter.
She stepped into her dark house. She flicked on a couple lights just as a black cat trotted up. Kani picked her up and stepped farther inside. The kitchen, dinning room, and living room were all open concept and on the far wall there were two doors.

"Ta dah," she said sarcasticly.

Standing as far away as she could from Kani and her glaring cat (all cats hate Neko) Neko stretched her arms out to the room. "Wow! It's so beautiful, Kani-san!" She cried. "Do you live here all by yourself, meow?"

Kani petted the top of Oblivion's head and nodded.

"Just me and Oblivion, yes."

She ran over to the couch and hopped up on it, still staring about. "Since when did you move here, to this village I mean,"

Kani clentched her teeth together and wandered over to the kitchen to put some more food in Oblivion's bowl.

"You should know that answer," she whispered.
