Just An Unknown Visit

"I'm not lying to you."
That much was true. What she had told Kani was true.

"Ok, maybe not lying, but you're not telling me the whole thing. You're keeping the most important part, the part that I would like to know, to yourself." She tapped her foot, still glaring at Hitori.

She looked at Kani, shocked.
"And what would that be Kani?"

"I don't know," she said, getting annoyed. "That's what I'm trying to find out? There's something about Akuma or the Akatsuki problems that you're not telling me. But I can tell that they're important, else why would you keep them to yourself? Hitori-" Her voice softened and she bit her lip. Her voice sounded far away. "-I just want to help. I feel useless right now... I want to be able to do something..."

"Kani, if I could tell you I would, but it's not my place to say. It's someone else's secret that I have to keep, I hope you understand."
She felt really bad for not being able to tell Kani.

Kani nodded and dropped her folded arms. She stared at the floor. "I understand," she mummbled. She looked around Hitori's office.

"Well Kani, I'm happy to see you again."
She smiled at Kani. She really was happy to see, but sorry that she couldn't tell her everything.

Kani looked up and smiled softly. "I'm glad to see you as well. I haven't seen you as often as I've prefered..."

"Well, there's still the present to change that."
She looked at Kani remembering that she is now a ghost.
"And something tells me that you'll have a lot of spare time on your hands now."

Kani laughed and crossed her arms. "I still can't decide whether that's a good thing or not. I didn't really sleep when I was alive so..." She shrugged. "Never mind. That had no relivency..."

Hitori laughed and smiled kindly at Kani.
"Well, I'm sorry, but I'll have to cut this visit short, you're welcome to stay if you want, but I have to go do something."

Kani shook her head. "No, I think I'll take my leave. But I will come and visit," she replied, smiling.

"Okay, I'll hold you to that Kani."
She smiled and she started walking towards the door of her office.

"Bye." Then she disappeared.
