For The Most Precious...

He put his hand to his head, feeling weak. Looking to the crack in the sand, then to Naruto, he moved slowly from the ground and got to the crack in the sphere, finding his way through it and to Kat. He wondered if Naruto would be okay on his own, looking up. "Kat.."

Hidden deep within the sand was Kat, her face and half of her body was visible. Her eyes were half open and it was apparent that her demon was trying to take her over, it was the full moon that night and her demon's blood was boiling-she was losing the battle because her strength was almost drained from reviving Gaara. She was still trying to control the Shukaku clone and Aveira but two demons are almost impossible to control.
Sand still piled onto her and she tried to resist. Kat of the Desert's eyes shifted their gaze to Gaara. Normally she hid her loneliness well but now that was the only that showed in her somber eyes. "G-Gaara get o-out of here, there i-is nothing you c-can do. N-Naruto is t-too arrogant and he's never grateful for all the times I've saved his life (which was like nine and counting)

Glancing at the sand, Naruto smiled. He could definitely take that girl an her demons down. After all...he was the strongest Ninja of Hidden Leaf and he was going to become the next Hokage. His eyes sparkled happily and arrogantly. For a long time he had wanted to see the great Kat of the Desert brought to her knee's, because he was severely envious of her. All day before, he hadn't done anything to help her with her demons because she was his eternal rival...she was the only thing in the way. In fact he had sent the Akatsuki on her, hoping to break her seemingly strong spirit.

Loudly so the people in the sphere could hear, Naruto had said his jealous, arrogant and inner most thought of Kat out loud.

(This certainly getting very, very good...heh!)

"Block Naruto out.. you can deal with him another time, but right now you have to keep anything from entering your mind. You can't let them have what they want.." He stared intensively at her, not leaving and glaring a bit at Naruto's comments. He couldn't let Kat lose control..

((ooc: Yes, this is getting good but unfortunately I am beginning to get stumped as to what Gaara is going to say >_< I am trying not to make him too OOC but I am failing XD))

((ooc: Hey he is your character, make him do what you want, OOC or not. After all, my Naruto character is certainly acting different! Just use your mind powers of doom or something!))

Deep within Kat's mind, Aveira and the Shukaku clone twittered angrily. Why had she was resisting the transformation? They began taunting Kat and trying to force themselves out of her body.

"Naruto was going to betray you in the end. That is the way of the Nine-Tailed-Fox Spirit. Forget him and that obnoxious red-head. Fight for yourself, love only yourself. It worked before, it will work again." Aveira growled. Sighing deeply, Kat realized that she was right. She thought about what Naruto had once told her.

-Flashback-
In a grassy field filled with irises, daffodils, and pansies, a boy and a girl sat in front of each other. The sun-kissed hair boy was wearing an orange jumpsuit and was holding onto a small violet out to the crimson-haired girl.
"What's this for?" The girl asked suspiciously. Grinning cheerfully, Naruto pushed the flower into her palms.
"This proves that I'll always be your friend. Strength can only be gained by protecting someone else! Believe me, Kat, I'll never betray you."
Kat sighed and thought about his words. Perhaps it was time to give her reason for existing another thought...
-End Flashback-

Contemplating Naruto's very words, Kat wondered what she had done to deserve his betrayal. All of her friends left her for whatever reason and she was once again thrust into the never-ending darkness of true solitude. A tear drop cascaded down her sweaty face.

Kat slowly turned her head to look at Gaara, "What do you care?" She asked with a suspicious tone of voice.



((ooc: BTW my character is nothing like me, I'm more sarcastic, hyper and happy in a sort of demented way ^_^))

"Why do I care.." He stared up at her, seemingly determined to stop her from losing control. "I care.. because I don't want to see this happen to you.."


((ooc: Lmao I tried to make it Gaara-ish XD))

Raising her eye-brows, Kat of the Desert growled "You only care because you don't want my demon's killing you again, that's the only reason isn't it?!" She was still struggling against the transformation but it seems as if her demons were winning the battle.

"Damn it Kat, don't let them take control." He glared, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly. "Heh.. what's wrong..? I thought you were stronger than this.. maybe I was wrong, hm?"

The small smirk that had come to his face left just as quickly, his eyes turning dull. "Do you enjoy failing to those who put you through pitiful and horrid times?"

Thinking about Gaara's words, Kat growled in agitation. So this is what he thought of her, as a pitiful little weakling? Her chest throbbed harder and harder by the second. "Do you enjoy watching me suffer?! You have no idea whatsoever about what it is like to fear for your damn life every single second of the day. And at least you have your brother and sister and your whole naive village supporting you! As for me, I have no one." She cackled and glared at the red-head.


Letting her demons transform her, but forcing their demands back into her smallest crack of her brain, the shell of sand split apart, revealing a giant white wolf with black en-ringed eyes. Her sights were set on destroying the annoying blonde in front of her.




Whisking Gaara up by her fluffy white tail and setting him gently upon her black, she howled and charged at Naruto Uzumaki, thinking nothing but thoughts of revenge and hate.


Meanwhile, Naruto gasped in horror and withdrew a kunai from his pouch. He pointed it at the wolf. The nine-tailed fox was beginning to stir in anticipation of a new prey to rip and tear apart. His eyes were starting to turn crimson red...

((ooc: Damn XD She got the wrong idea lmao He was trying reverse psycology @__@ I guess it failed LOL Aw but I had a little plan for if it didn't fail, I didn't have one ready for if it did DX And strange how she put him on her back O_o))

"Kat, stop this!" He crawled on her back, getting closer to her ears. "Your wrong by what I meant, I never meant I enjoyed watching you suffer. I know your stronger than this.. do you honestly feel the need to rip your friend to shreds? Do you really believe you have no one?"


((ooc: Lmao arg, now I must make it up as I go XD But I have a fair good idea of what I'm aiming for.. O_o))

Kat turned around and gazed at him, wondering what he was speaking about. She thought for a moment and then replied, "Do you honestly care?? How do I know you're not like the blonde moron on the ground?"

A sudden yell appeared from the darkness. "Because he's my friend!" Caim then appeared in front of Gaara, holding a kunai in his hand. He then looked back at Gaara. "You okay, Gaara?" He asked.

(OOC:Sorry, just had to butt in cause I had nothin else to do at the moment =P)

Growling, Kat glared at Caim. "Mind your own business, I wasn't planning on hurting Gaara unless Gaara and Naruto just happened to switch bodies!"

-he appeared behind kat-

everything ok here you three?

he asked in a serious voice

Kat then snarled "As I said before, this is none of your concerns. Neither of you." She then turned her head and looked at Gaara.
"I will ask you one more time; do you honestly care about me or do you just not want to see your pitiful village go up in the dust, blood and sand of my wrath and fury??!!"

Now now now said ryukotsusei as he stood between kat and gaara

Kat do know that if you decide to attack the sand village then i dont care how my little brother feels about you I will defend it! and trust me demon or not I wont be an easy opponent undrstand?

"This is un-necessary. Kat, I care. It doesn't show, but it's there." He looked at Kat with eyes that showed honesty, perhaps something that was a rare thing to see. Though, he spoke the truth. "And how could you think I was a clone of Naruto? Can you not sense my weak status? Weak because of being dead, and after being ressurected, it doesn't take less than a day to rejuvenate."

He shook his head slightly, closing his eyes. "Your my favourite."

Actually believing those words, Kat regained her (lost) sanity and she slowly transformed back into her human form. She glanced up at Gaara and then lowered her guilt-filled eyes. "I apologize to you...Gaara-sama. Please forgive me." She whispered.


Behind her, seemingly unnoticed by everyone was Naruto Uzumaki with a raised kunai in his hand. "This is the end of your stupid rope, Kat of the Desert. See you in Hell!!" He chuckled to himself and prepared to drive the kunai right into her back...

-he would sigh as he reached out and grabbed his wrist- you arent a bright little boy are you? -he then twisted his wrist so the kunai fell harmlessely to the ground and restrained him then sighed- just stand still their little fellow and i wont have to hurt you

Shrieking, Naruto twisted his head around and yelped "Y-You don't understand...I-I was just trying to um, kill the insect that was on Kat's back!" He realized that there wasn't (and never was) such an insect and gasped "O-Okay so it's gone now, can I go...PLEASE?

-he looked over to kat- your call -he said as he tightened his hold on the little blonde retard-

Swiftly turning around and glaring at Naruto, Kat whacked him upside the head with her fan knocking the little blonde twit totally unconscious and (just) barely alive.

Kat glanced at Ryukotsusei Yamato and asked "What d'ya think? Should I kill him now or take him to the hospital and wait for his explanation when he wakes up??"

She was only suggesting the option of taking Naruto to the hospital and prying an explanation out of him because she didn't want to displease Gaara, her crush and idol.

mm ill take him -he said as he threw the little retard about 400 yards away- itll be fun this way -he wakled over picked him up again and threw him again getting him closer to the hospital with each horrible painful landing-

Laughing, Kat said "I guess your right. If he's dead when we get there, then I'll tell Gaara that he suffered a tragic death of eating too much ramen!"


Meanwhile in the midst of all the pain and agony, Naruto was thinking "Damn, I'm screwed this time for sure!" He shouted pleadingly "SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!"

-he laughed as he threw him through the hospital window then walked back to caim, kat, and gaara- well that was fun -he said- but now im bored -he looked at gaara- spar?
