Personality:Neji started of as kind of cold to people. After losing to Naruto at the chunin exams, he began to change himself. He used to think that people had a set destiny and that no one could change their destiny including him, but Naruto taught him that he could control his life and this made him a kinder person. He cares alot about the saftey of his teamates now and tries to be kinder to the main branch.
Bio:Neji was born into the side branch of the Hyuga family. He was given the branch family seal when he was really little. He had been okay with the main family branch until he saw his father be punished for just thinking about hurting Hinata. He felt like a caged bird, claiming that you could not change your destiny and that he also had a set destiny as well.He says that to people who are weaker than him,especially Rock Lee. He laughed at Rock Lee when he said his dream was to be a splendid ninja and said that he could not be a good ninja with only taijutsu. He tells lee that he will never beat him and that will never change.He had a grudge with the Main branch for making his father sacrifice himself in place of Hiashi (the main branch leader&Hinata's dad )(what he thought happened). Though, later he gets told the truth how his father willingly sacrificed himself. But until then, he really hates the main branch, &he hates Hinata a whole lot. During the preliminaries at the chunin exam, he finds himself against her. He pretty much takes out his anger on her and he is always putting her down and telling her to give up because she was weaker and will never defeat him.She surprises him and tells him that it's he who is hurting most because he is trying to become equal to the main branch and to not be looked down on because he is just from the side branch.He doesn't pay attention to her because she loses anyways and he says"a failure will always be a failure". Naruto teaches him his lesson finally when he faces him in the finals.Neji tells Naruto that he won't win and Naruto proves him wrong. He defeats him with his signature move and admits to him that he used to be the worst at it,but with practice he did it. He also tells him he could change his his own destiny if he tries. Neji later gets told of his father and even later he tries to make ammends to his relationships with others.He is friendly to Hinata and he even trains with Hiashi.He has more faith in Rock Lee than he did before and works on getting along with his team more.
