Remembering

"Oh.. You don't want to be..?" She couldn't really finish, and tried to smile. "If my presance annoys you, I could leave, if you wish?"

"No...you don't have to leave...I'm just trying to get over the fact you forgive me."

She smiled, a little confused.
(about as confused as I am! X3)
"Um, heh, should I not, meow?" Then she dipped deeper into the water.

"I don't know...I said some pretty mean things to you..."

She shook her head and went in up to her neck. "I don't count them as mean, I obviously did something wrong to hurt you so you got mad. Meow, but it's been four years. You've changed now, you're different? Am I not correct?"

"I've changed in more ways you can comprehend."

Goes back under.

Nods once, solomnly. Then she called out loud enough so Kani could hear her under the water. "Kani-san, may I ask why- What did I do to make you so upset? Meow, you don't have to answer if you'd like.. I just wish I knew a way to make you happy again..."

She came back up.

"Because you kept telling me you could see Gaara and I was annoyed that you were lying to me, and even if you weren't, you were able to see him and I wasn't. That's the reason why I was mad at you there."

She nodded once again but smiled still. "I understand. Gaara-kun is very special and it made us all very sad when he died. You just expressed your sadness differently, meow." She exhaled in relief and smiled sencirly. "I'm so happy that we got everything off our chests!"

"Sure...sure..."

"Umm, Kani-san, may I ask you a very important question which I need you to listen very carefully when I ask it? It's very personal so I'd wish you would make sure that you heard every word.." She walked back to the shallow area and leaned against the side of the edge.

Turns and swims over so she's as close to being in the shallow end without being in it.

"Sure."

She inhaled and stared down at the water. "As you know, I am not a real human. I am more of a computer. I glich that should of never occured. So, being as I am, I never know if what I'm feeling is the truth." She lifted her head to look solomnly at Kani. "You are the only one I could ask this, you are the only one I could trust. So I'm going to ask and if you don't understand how I explain, could you please tell me to ask again and I'll change my wording?"

"Sure sure!"

She nodded. "Have you ever felt hostility towards someone for being around someone else?"

"In short, yes."

She shook her head and closed her eyes. "I mean, this person could be a very decent person. They might be the nicest person in the world, but some how the thought of them being around this specific person bugs you. Or annoys you.. It just gives you this not-so-good feeling.." She opened her eyes again. "You don't need to tell me who or why, but just tell me if this is a normal emotion. That's all I want.."

"Yes. I have experienced it myself."

"Really?!" Her eyes lit up as she realized that she didn't have some retarded malfunction or something. "So it's normal? As normal as can get!" Then she jumped up in down in her spot, creating little waves. "That's so great, meow!" But then she stopped. "What is that emotion called???"

"Jelousy or being envious."

She blinked a few times. "Envious. I've never heard it. But.. Jealousy, meow... I've heard that one." She sank into the water up to her nose. "Not good.. Not good at all.."

"What's not good."

Swims to the edge and climbs out before grabbing a blood red towel from the side and wrapping it around her.

"Jealouy is very bad. It's a terrible thing. Meow, it can make people do very mean things for no reason at all. It's even one of the deadly sins."

Nods.

"Yeah..."

"I must stop it.. I must, or he'll beat me.." She gasped a bit and shook her head vigorously. "No, not him. In the end though, I must do something to stop..." Then she did a full back flip out of the pool and onto the deck, landing far enough away from Kani as to not spray her with water. "How did you get rid of it, Kani-san?"
