Lying in the Sand

Immediatly tenses up and then spits beside her. Hisses and then growls as she looks back at him.

"Don't say there name. They demons bent on distruction!"

He stares at her for a second, then says, "Tell me about it..."

Blushes and looks at the sand before looking back up with fire in her eyes.

"The Akatsuki tried, and I think are still tyring, to kill my best friend."

"I'm in the same boat..." He said wincing slightly as the five tails stabbed at his mind.

Nods.

"The Akatsuki should die."

Zæl indicated his agreement and then thought for a while. "The only one I know like me is Kazekage Gaara... Is he the friend you speak of?"

Nods.

"Yes..."

Zæl nodded as well and was sient for a while. Suddenly he made himself rapidly sink into the sand, freaking out as he did, and buried himself to see how she would react.

Jumps up and walks over to where he was.

"Person? Are you ok?"

Is worried but not freaking.

"Aww you're no fun," He said rising back up out of the sand. "Oh, and I guess I forgot to tell you my name, it's Žæl, Žæl Žùründî," He reached out a hand to shake.

Smirks and shakes his hand.

"My name is Kani."

"So, Kani... what Village are you from?"

"The Village Hidden in the Mist but I live in the Shadow Village."

He nodded. "I'm from here, the Sand, as you can probably tell. Any hobbies or interests? I've shown you some of those already too." He smiled.

Sits down in front of him.

"I like fighting."

He moved to a smirk. "I can also do that."

Nods.

"Fighting is the best thing I can do, I'm smart but I'm better in fighting."

He nodded again, "Balance is a key in fighting." Then he had an idea, "Would you like to spar?"

Smiles and stands up, taking her sword off her back as she did.

"I thought you'd never ask."

As she swings her sword in front of her she sees and some sand was still stuck on it.

Perfect...

ooc: is ok if Neko comes to watch? ..I'll take that as a yes.

Neko poofed into a tree nearby. She saw Kani pull out a sword to an unknown stranger and smiled, guessing it was a spar. "Go, Kani-san!" She cheered from the tree, deciding to make herself Kani's official cheerleader.

ooc: go ahead!

Laughs and stares at Zeal.

(lol, where would a tree be in the middle of the desert?)

Zæl stood up as well, a small tornado forming a blade on his arm. The wind picked up as he locked eyes with Kani. "Your move."

Sighs.

"Why must I always go first?"

ooc: ...lol...cuz I thought this was the oasis... But there are some trees in the desert. They're all white and kinda look like skeleton hands... lol.. I'm an idiot..

"I was just being polite, ladies first ya'know? But, if you want... I could go first." He said as the sand shifted beneath his feet.
