Lying in the Sand

Shrugs.

"I don't understand what's with that whole thing..."

Shifted slightly away from his general direction.

She called from the tree. "WOULD ONE OF YOU PUH-LEEZE DO SOMETHING BEFORE I FALL ASLEEP, MEOW!?!"

"I guess it just depends on... nevermind... do you want me to make the first move?"

Swings her sword in front of her, making some of the stuck on sand fall around Zeal. She then stuck her sword in the ground and started to make hand signs.

"Scarlet manipulation!"

All the grains of sand that had flown off her sword crumbled into blood, the sand on her sword doing the same, and all of it sped towards Zeal and up around his body to his throat. She clentched her hands together and the blood pierced him like newly sharpened kunai's stabbing into him from every area on his body below his neck.

She gawked, surprised by the first attack. Then she jumped up and stood on the tree branch. "GO KANI-SAN! YOU CAN DO IT! MEOW!" She cheered.

"I thought something like that might happen, but not so powerful when we just started." He said rising out of the desert as the sand where he had been crumbled inward from the consritictive force. He made a few hand seals and suddenly the sand wrapped around her wrists and ankles and started to pull her under.

No! Damnitt! No!

Starts to freak out, but mangages to keep a straight face. She pulled at the sand restraining her and found that she could move a couple centimeters in every direction. She stared at the sword moving slowly upwards in front of her and clentched her teeth together, remembering the lession that she had had with her father all those years ago. She snaked out her neck and grabbed her sword between her teeth. She pulled it towards her and then instantly dropped it. She cursed as she felt herself being pulled deeper and deeper into the sand.

"Damnitt, why didn't I listen to Malenko!" she growled.

(This is going to be annoying to get out of...)

"Malenko...?" He asked preparing for his next move.

Grounds her teeth together as she struggles against the sand bindings.

mummbles "Damn it, he was right. I could use Kago right now."

(alright, that is an awesome jutsu! But I don't know a way out...and if there is one then I'm too stupid to figure it out)

She realized Kani was in danger and cheered from the tree. "C'mon Kani-san! Don't you remember your water jutsu?! Water turns sand into mud, try to get free, meow!"

Growls.

"I can't move my hands Neko! Or I would have done that already!"

She quieted down a bit. "Well.. WELL, YOU CAN DO IT! I KNOW YOU CAN GET FREE KANI-SAN! YOU'RE STRONGER THEN THIS!"

(lol, strategy. I'll get you out )

"Kago...?" He asked as he 'threw' a wall of sand at her as a feint, and made the sand violently erupt from under her.

Flies backwards and hits the tree that Neko's sitting in. She lays there for a second, getting the feeling back into her wrists and and ankles. Slowly stands up and does a bunch of hand signs.

"Tidal wave justu!"

A giant tidal wave appears and crashes over Zeal, turning all the sand into mud.

Zael quickly punched himself in the stomach releasing a powerful blast of wind that contested the water, pushing it back to form a crescent of mud, and kept moving for the two of them.

(As the wave started, he did the jutsu. Which pushed the water back, forming a crescent of mud with the points toward him, because it would try to wrap around it. It overtook the water (gravity helps) and is heading toward you guys

Jumps up into the tree and grabs Neko before jumping a little bit away so the thing doesn't hit them. Kani puts Neko down and goes over to Zeal's area.

"So..." He said questioningly as he spun the air currents around his body for protection.

"So what?"

Runs over and grabs her sword before positioning herself in front of Zeal.

She jumped a fair distance away from their fight to make sure she wasn't caught up in anything.

(Neko, no one runs out of chakra anymore, at least...no one special. You and I...we're special...but not to these guys to think that they have unlimited power and powers)

ooc: oooh, not cool. When I next see Gaara, I'm gonna bug him about that...

"I've used around 70% of my chakra... Continue?" He said fidgeting a little.

Takes a kunai and throws it at him. It gives him a smal cut on his arm. Kani does a bunch of hand seals.

"Inner demon transfer jutsu!"

Nothing happens but then Zeal starts to remember his worst memories. (your remembering you worst memories so you should be freaking out but I don't want to write that...) Kani rushes at him with her sword, hitting him everywhere. This continues for a couple minutes before she stops and jumps a little bit away. The memories in Zeal's head stop. Kani is standing, a little hunched over, smiling.

"That was the first time I've done that..."
