*he stood there looking at a picture of his older brother and a single tear fell from his face*
".....im sorry"

Kani walked by, after walking around the mansion for a little while. She was wearing entirly black, since she was here to mourn Ryu. She realized that a door stood open and she stepped inside, not caring that she knew the person inside.

*He cared not if the person was friend or foe.*

"I still can't get over the fact that he's dead," she whispered.

She took a couple steps forward.

"It doesnt seem real..I guess this is what i deserve though."

Kani walked up beside him but didn't look at him.

"What do you mean 'this is what I deserve'?"

"a punishment for all my sins. For all the lives i have ended, the endless families i lef devestated and now its my turn"

Kani fiddled with a button on her jacket.

"It's not just you...Now that I here your reason, I guess that it could apply to me too...in some ways."

"Hmm how so?"

Kani sighed and tried to say as nicely as she could:

"It's none of your business."

"Lets not have a fight here.."

Kani nodded solomly.

"I am going to make them pay dearly."

Kani clentched her teeth together.

"You have no idea."

A tear slid down the side of her cheek.

"I couldn't believe it when he told me, and it made it worse because it was the Akatsuki that did it to him. I couldn't believe it, one friend killed by them and now another."

"Kani I need you to do me a favor.."

Kani looked up at him.

"What?"

"I want you to stay away from the Akatsuki..not for me but for Neko, and the others..please this is the only thing I ask of you."

Kani turned away and looked at the floor.

"I'm sorry Raku but that is the only thing that I can't, that I will not do."

"I'm sorry to hear that.."

Kani crossed her arms lightly.

"Why?"

"Your friends dont need to lose another one to them."
*He looked at her then back to the picture.*

Kani would have glared but remembering why she was hear stopped her.

"I won't die. I won't. You have to trust me on that..."

A tear slid down her cheek.

"I can't die..."

*He sighed.*

Kani looked up at him.

"What?"

"Kani..unlike you I only have two friends..more like brothers while you have many friends who would worry and miss you terribly if you were to die."
