Kani stared at him.

"Don't you think I know that?" she said slowly. "You're brother himself reminded me of that when I wanted to go with him to the Akatsuki."

Tears welled up in her eyes.

"I know that people would miss me, but I don't know what I'd do if these-" she stammered for a word. "-monsters were still out. I've now had two friends killed by them and I don't want to lose another. Me dying, one is killed; these monsters still on the loose, many will be killed. Sometimes you need to make sacrifices Raku."

"I have more than enough power to kill every last one of them."
*He clenched his fist hard enough that his nails drew blood in his palm.*
"Me and my "family" can kill them with ease."

Kani stared at him.

"If you and your 'family' can kill him with ease, then it'll be even easier if the rest of us fight."

"I am not talking about my two frinds..I dont work well with others Kani..I would like to do this on my own so no one else gets hurt in the process."

Kani looked away.

"People will get hurt no matter what, but with more people, where will either be way less injuries or deaths or more injuries or deaths. Raku, I know you don't work with others, and sometimes neither do I but..."

She looked at him out of the corner of her eye.

"...sometimes you need to trust others when they say that they want to help. Some people may not want to help you in particular, but most want to help bring down the Akatsuki. I will fight, Neko will want to fight, you will fight, Ich will probably fight-"

She smiled evily.

"-and-we-will-win!"

"Not him! I will not work with someone who was involved with those pathetic humans."
*He growled out of hate and mistrust.*

Kani stared at him feircly.

"What's wrong with Ich? What has be done to deserve your hate!? He's a strong fighter and we need him!"

She cringed internatly, she didn't like emmiting that she needed someone.

"Hes a part of the damned Akatuki..which makes him an enemy..my enemy."
*He smiled for a minute from thought os the coming slaughter*
"My enemy..."
*He repeated*

Kani shook her head.

"No, I thought that as well. He told me that he's a double agent..."

She looked away, getting a little annoyed.

"I know you're going to say that I'm stupid and I shouldn't trust him, but I'm telling you right now to shut up. You don't know what you're talking about. Ich is only part of the Akatsuki to help us bring them down from the inside. He couldn't be evil if he tried... I trust him, but not as much since he told me. Lately I've been a little cautious around him, even though I know that the danger isn't immediate. I know it won't mean much: but trust me. I know my friends."

"Kani..trust who you want. I know you dont trust me and you have good reason not to after all I have three beings that constantly are corrupting my judgement along with my body..However I will not trust him..its like someone who would sell out there own village to live. If I was part of yhe akatsuki I would not backstab them but I'm not and I'm glad that I'm not I am loyal to three things Kani and those things I refuse to backstab."

Kani shrugged.

"Alright. But I'm still certain that he will fight with us, needless of you telling him to go."

"If so you and him will need to be away from me and Neko."

Kani growled.

"No. I'm not going to be away from Neko when there's a chance that she could be killed. I'm not going to let another one of my friends die when I have the opsion to save them..."

Her voice trailed off and tears started to roll down her cheeks. She hugged herself and slowly sat down on the floor, the tears still flowing.

"Fair enough..She will probably only get in my way."
*He looked down at her,*
You didnt have the option of saving him..I didnt even have that option."

Kani clentched her teeth together.

"I was in a position to try."

"You would have gotten in the way anyone would have gotten in the way Kani..Pein was a very dangerous opponent and he couldnt fight to his fullest without fear of you getting hurt. Thats also the same reason why I dont want to fight with others."

"No...I mean I could have stopped Ryu from going..." she stopped, not wanting to explain. "And I understand why you dont want to fight with others but you have to let us."

"He woulnt have listened and I dont really care if you fight them but do not try to help me Neko thinks she is going to help me but I'm only helping her with Nibi...They wnat me the most..."

The tears stopped and Kani slowly crossed her legs, so that she wasn't kneeling anymore.

"They want anyone with a demon Raku, but I understand why you're a priority; cause you have three demons. But they want Gaara and Neko and anyone else...and Neko will be able to help you. She's not a bad fighter."

"She will get in the way I would like to not have to hold back in the fight's I'm not completely sure if I will be able to tell friend from foe."

Kani nodded.

"That makes sense..."

She didn't know what else to say so she just concentrated on the floor.

*He clenched his teeth together as he said this.*
"I would like your help..I cant take them all at once..."

Kani nodded.

"I was going to help anyway but-"

She looked up at him, smiling slightly.

"-it's nice to hear you ask."

She suspresed a laugh at the fact that he was forcing himself to say it.

"It's not funny.."
*He narrowed his eyes.*
"Anyways heres the plan..I want someone with Ichiyashago at all times he has a friend in the Akatsuki."

Kani nodded and stiffled another laugh.

"He probably won't leave me so that'll work...but he might try to be near Neko..." She stopped herself from rambling. "I'll make sure I'm with him."
