Ich's Room...

Gaiya blushed from under the bandages and says, "You're also the first and greatest friend that was this nice to me."

"You mean, none of your friends has ever been nice to you? That's hard to imagine...cause you're such a nice person..."

"No... You're the nicest... Neko is also my friend, but she isn't as nice as you..." Gaiya explained with his smile on his face

Kani was shocked, nicer then Neko? She shook her head wildly, still staring at him.

"I'm not Ich, I'm not. Trust me on this one, Neko's a lot nicer then I am."

"Neko made me forget what I wanted to do at Gaara's office" Gaiya said truthfully, but continues to say, "But you... You helped me find the cure... and that is the nicest person in my books"

"What did she make you forget?"

Kani was kinda confused since she had no clue what Ich was talking about.

"And no, Ich, trust me...Neko is way nicer then I am."

"She made me forget why I was at the Kazekage mansion with her talk of fun... and she is freaking me out... the last time I saw her, she was stabbing herself..." Ich says before shuddering

Kani was shocked at what Ich just said.

"She was..."

She shook her head.

"Still, Ich, you really have to listen to me: Neko is much much nicer then me."

"But, you brought me out of the immortal hell I lived in, without asking anything in return. Even though I think you're right, my heart says you're the nicest person I've ever met." Ich says as a red cardinal flew in carrying something

Kani looked up at the cardninal and couldn't help but smile lightly, it was her favourite bird. She looked back at Ich and bit her lip.

"That works...I guess...since you know that I'm not even if your heart doesn't."

Gaiya closed his eyes and says, "The cardinal that just came... has something I made for you"

The cardinal hopped forward and dropped a little box into Kani's hands. (Uh...what is it??) She looked up at Ich, who looked like he was about to fall asleep.

Ich...you didn't have to...

Ich was about to go to sleep, but says still nicely, "Do you like your presents... a gem for your puppet so its attack, defense, speed, and accuracy is raised tenfold. A rose that has your hair style, hair color, and it has your same skin color for the stem. And finally, a little doll that looks like a pink rabbit, and was made of pink rabbit fur... that I bought"

Kani stared at the items in her hands, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Oh Ich...I love them..."

She looked up just as Ich fell asleep. She looked back down at her presents.

"I'm glad you like them" Ich says with a smile, "I made them myself." Ich was still about to sleep, but was still awake

She looked up at Ich and then back down at the presents, and then back up at him.

"You should rest, it'll help your injuries."

I can't believe it...

Ich says, "Ok, and I just want you to know, you are my first and best friend that I ever had" and on that note Ich was asleep

Kani smiled as Ich drifted on and she ran the tips of the fingers of her right hand along his cheek.

"Sleep well," she murmured, still smiling.

Ich is now my best friend, it's been decided.

She signed and closed her eyes, leaning back into her chair, feeling the happiest she ever had in four years.

Ich was still asleep, but was having sweet dreams

A nurse came in and then says, "Hello, miss, visiting hours are over"

( I take care of my friends)

Kani looked up at the nurse then at Ich and nodded slowly. She ran the tips of her finger over Ich's bandaged cheek again and then said "Tell me when he wakes up.". Then she left.

[time skip, 2 hours later]

Ich is still asleep, but visiting hours are back open

Neko walked into Ichi's room and stood by his bed, wondering what had happened. All she had heard was that he was in the hospital and she went to go see him, but, unfortunatly, he was asleep.

Ich mummbled in his sleep, "dont... go..."
