Kazekage Business

Her new position as the Kazekage gave her new responsabilities, showing more paperwork her way and a lot more organization.
"Damn, why did he leave me with this..? Well, Gaara wanted me to take his job when he died, now I must go through with it. I don't know if most of Suna knows of Gaara's death, but I need to get someone to inform them.."
She sat at Gaara's desk, feeling funny for he was the only one to ever sit at it. She shook her head and looked through papers of certain ninja's, seeing Baki in there.
"Perhaps I can get Baki-sensai to tell the vilage. Wait, who am I kidding? Of course I can get Baki to tell them.."

"Having fun?" He walked through the open door and stood at her desk. "How do you feel to being the new Kazekage?"

She looked at Shkamaru, giving a small smile.
"Powerful.."
She looked at the paper's again.
"But what am I supposed to do? I know it's going to be hard to break it to the village.."

"Of course it is, that's the way life goes.." He put his hands in his pockets. "But what you need to be worrying about more is the safety of your village, the funds, and it's relationship with other villages. Oh, that reminds me, Konoha is declaring friendship upon Suna. Do you accept?"

"What do you think?"
She laughed a little, looking at him again.
"Yes. I've always been against how Suna was at war with Konoha during my first Chunin exam, it was after we had just become aquaintances with them too."

"I remember that.." He closed his eyes and slouched a bit. "Ugh, three days of running. I'm beat.."

"Would you like to stay at an Inn? Or wold you like special treatment and stay in one of the rooms in the mansion?"
She grinned at him.
"I already know the answer, you can stay in any room you want, I can escort someone to show you them."

"Oh.. thanks." He opened his eyes and smiled. "Your pretty good, how long have you been training for the job?"

"Heh, I guess royalty flows. I have never trained to become the Kazekage, maybe it's just from staying around Gaara so much."
She looked out the window and went a bit quiet.
"Though, not enough.."

He also looked out the window. "I guess I'll stay for a day or two, then I'm going to head back.." He looked at her. "It's okay, I'll spend the night at an Inn, I don't want any special treatment, I'm not a Jounin yet." He gave her a small smile, turning and walking to the door. "I'll see you around." He left, leaving Temari looking at the window.

She looked at the door, nodding her head, then looking at the papers in her hand. She took the papers for the Inn registrations and looked them over.
"Huh... what should I do now.."

[he ran with his homeland, the Land of Rain, with two other villages, the Sound village and the Cloud village, towards the Kazekage mansion. He looked around him, not seeing a certain person]

"Where is that girl..?"

*she ran up and got beside Arashi*"Hey, I know you!"*she smiled widely*"What's up?"

[he looked at Kurai]

"Oh, hi. Nothing really.. have you seen a girl with cat ears with a cloud village headband around anywhere?"

"Oh, I know that girl! Her name was Ne..Nek.. Neko! No I haven't seen her anywhere, and I think I've already looked around at most of the ninja's here."*she looked a bit confused*"Why do you want to know if she's here..?"

[he looked around again]

"Because I talked to her before, and she isin the Cloud village, one of the village's that were teamed up with.. if she's not here than.. maybe she coud have gone and told the Kazekage about the war.."

"I doubt it, I heard the Kazekage died."*she looked at the mansion*"if the kage was replaced, the next one probably wouldn't know even if the late one had been told."

"Where did you hear that the Kazekage died?"

"Otonin is the Sound village, dont you think we have ninja's around the villages were going to war with and listening to anything that might be important? Lots of the ninja's in my village have more than the average hearing abilities with the special jutsu's they use."

"Oh.."

[he looked away with a skeptic face]

"Well, whatever. No Kazekage means easier job for us."

"What is that noise..?"
She looked to the window, her eyes widening and she stood, running to it.
"What..?!"
She seen a large amount of Ninja's, probably more than 5,000.
"What the hell s going on..?! Was there a war that was going to happen and Gaara didn't tell me about it?!"

He ran into the room and stood beside Temari. "Hey Kazekage-sama.. do you know any good battle plans..?"

She looked at Shikamaru.
"A few, but nothing that will take down a ninja army of 5,000.."
She looked out the window again.
"What do I do? I don't have enough time to get all the ninja's lined up for battle.. and by the looks of it there is more than one village in there.. Suna doesn't stand a chance, exspessially if one of the villages is one of the five great lands.."

"What would Gaara do..?" He looked out the window.

She looked at him, then looked out the window with determination.
"Probably find a way. He would protect this village, and as the new Kazekage and more importantly his sister, I will follow in his footsteps, even if I am older than he is.."
