Paper Work.. And More Paper Work

He blinked, turning his head slightly and watching as the wall began to crumble slightly. "Hm, well, it seems like you'd rather take out your anger issues on the wall instead of your target."

He turned his head again, his face as blank as usual as he stared at the blue man. "You missed."

Kisame was starting to get rather frustrated with the situation he was in. "If I can't kill you here... Then I'll just take you back to the hideout." Kisame lobbed Gaara onto his shoulders and started to walk out the room.

He started coughing, though, he didn't plan to refuse. "Of course.. you.. could have done this.. in the first place.."

"I know I could have!" Kisame's feelings were starting to frustrate him. "... Why are you constantly coughing up blood?" Kisame said sincerely, so he could feed his curiosity.

"Why.. do you care?" It almost confused him that this criminal, in an organization based on obtaining the tailed demons, would even bother to wonder why the one-tailed host was coughing blood. "Here you are.. taking a Kage away from his village.. to take the demon from his body, killing him in result.. and you care that he's coughing up blood? It makes no sense.."

"..." Kisame sighed. "If I knew why I cared, then I would tell you." Kisame stood still for a bit. "It's probably to make convo... Or something." Kisame knew that wasn't the reason, it was obvious that he cared, but he didn't feel like it was a good idea to tell Gaara.

"Of course you would.." Something made him wonder if the blue man actually would tell him. He lifted his head slightly, looking around. Was he really going to let the guy Kani was talking about take over this village? Even if he was fictional, that didn't mean it wasn't possible. He glared, turning his head to stare at the back of Kisame's. "You don't want to do this."

"... No I don't, but I have no choice". Kisame stopped for a bit to take a break. "I don't want to make my own decisions, I need my power limited and I need to know what to do. I like listening to orders, and it's what I do best, even if I do sometimes disagree..." Kisame started to walk again. It felt awkward to him, for the first time he told someone how he felt, and an enemy none the less.

He continued to stare at the back of Kisame's head, listening to every word. "Don't you ever wonder why your taking this route?"

"What do you mean? Joining the Akatsuki? Killing people to create what our leader wants the world to be?"

"Of course, we've all got our own decisions in life.." He closed his eyes. "But there comes a time when most of us stop and wonder what we're actually doing and why."

"Well, I can't really explain why I joined the Akatsuki, but I have my reasons" Kisame looked up at Gaara on his shoulders. "For one so young, you seem to know a fair bit, but I guess it's to be expected from a Kage"

"It is my job to give guidance to my village and watch over them.." He sighed, opening his eyes slightly and staring at the ground. "But, it seems that lately I have been failing at my purpose.. and today will be the day that I fail for good."

He coughed again, the blood that spilled from his mouth dripping on Kisame's back. He didn't seem to be giving much energy to anything, even when it was as simple as covering his mouth when he coughed.

'I hope that doesn't stain my outfit...' "I'm... sorry...." Kisame looked blankly for a second. "... I'm sorry for making you fail your village..."

"You're not the one making me fail my village.." The blood continued to drip from his lips. "You're doing your job.. for I am a Jinchuuriki.. I shouldn't be Kage, anyway.."

"Yes, but your people must really trust and love you in order to let you have that position. If not, then they have a lot of faith that you will do good for them."

"I know the elders wouldn't give a damn." He glared at the ground, tasting the blood in his mouth. "Not that you should, either, but you seem to, which is quite confusing."

"I know that it confuses you, especially for the fact that it confuses me." Kisame looked at him. "But maybe i just sense that your a nice person inside." Kisame started to feel really weird, he was starting to get a churning feeling in his stomach.

"Inside I am a rotten demon that should be destroyed." He continued to glare at the ground. "Is your organization trained to care for nice people?"

"We're are not trained as an organization, we are just an organization of powerful criminals, thats why we excel at our own things. And whether or not we are nice to someone is our own choice."

"Hm.." He thought for a second. His expression softened, and he stared at the floor, looking forlorn. "Please..."

"Please? Please what?" Kisame stopped and looked up at Gaara, hoping that this would help him understand the situation better.

"At least.." He continued to stare at the ground, his expression showing more emotion in it as he spoke. It was strange. "Let me find somebody to replace me.. Just so the village isn't in the wrong hands.. then I will surrender without a fight and make sure nobody follows you.."

"... I guess I can..." Kisame let Gaara down onto his feet slowly. "But I'll have to come with you." Kisame looked at Gaara. "... Are you going to be able to walk? You don't look all to healthy at the moment..."

"I'm fine.." He wiped his chin, though, the blood had already dried a bit, so it stayed. He swayed slightly, but most likely only because of the way he had been carried around. "But.. I'm not exactly sure how long it's going to take to find a replacement.. will you be able to wait with me for at least a week..? Are you sure you even want to do that..? And you'll need to disguise yourself, and probably hide your face.. they might ask questions and make sure they have a better eye on me.."
