Lost In A Pretty Much Deserted Place

Yomi's eyes widened at the sight of another dragon. She looked from Ryu to the dragon and back to Ryu. "That's your summoning?" she asked. She looked out at the giant red dragon and then to the black one. She had not clue what to say.

Let me out! I want to fight! Please Yomi! Please! I'm not sure... Come on Yomi! It would be simple! Me and that dragon against the other one, we'd demolish it! I'm still not sure...

Yomi's hand twitched and she tug her nails into her palm so hard that she started to bleed. Hachibi wanted out badly.

"Ragnarok finish this quick!"
*Ryu yelled as ragnarok nodded his head and suddenly fired out a shot of pure black fire at the other dragon as ryu smirked watching as the red one couldnt move*
"Check and mate"
*he stated simply*

Yomi! It would be quick and absolutely painless for you! Please!

Yomi shook her head. "No!" she yelled. She turned away from the fight and growled. "Not now Hachibi!"

*ryu watched as the other dragon was incinerated but his eyes widened as the dragon was killed*
"Thats impossible!!"
*he yelled getting annoyed*
"Lets finish this Ragnarok!"
*he said as he created a tornado around the red dragon with his chakra and had ragnarok ignite it with his black fire he then compressed the tornado into a much more violent and powerful thing watching as the dragon was destroyed he then turned to Yomi and looked into her eyes*
"Are you alright Yomi-chan?"
*he asked concerned*

Hachibi! It's dead! There's not point anymore!

Hachibi stopped fighting and Yomi's breathing quickened as she caught her breath. She felt dizzy and she stummbled forward.

You can't blame this on me, I was only trying to help.[i]

*he caught her in his arms gemtly*
"Yomi-chan are you ok?!"
*he asked worriedly*

Yomi nodded, her eyes closed. "Y-yeah. Hachibi w-wants out...Well... d-did..." Her knees buckled and she fell into him. "S-sorry," she mummbled.

"It's ok I've got you Yomi-chan"
*he said holding her gently and blushing a little*

"I think I'm falling in love with her.."

Yomi took a breath and her eyes fluttered open. "She's never wanted out that badly before," she mummbled.

Next time I won't hold back. Next time!? You're joking right!? Humph.

Yomi grummbled under her breath.

"Cmon lets get you inside"
*he said as Ragnarok went to hunt down the rest of the akatsuki he then took her inside never letting her go the entire way*

Yomi didn't move from Ryu's side as they went back into his room. She sat down on the edge of the bed and placed her head in her hands.

Never again! I wouldn't have had to if you just let me out! You know why I couldn't! And why is that?! Because you wouldn't have stopped... you would have tracked down the rest. True, I would want to, but I wouldn't. You know I'd never do that to you. Don't go all soft on me. Heh.

*he sat there holding her in his arms already knowing that she was having a conversation with the Hachibi*

"She's annoyed, but it's fine," Yomi mummbled. She sighed and looked up at Ryu. "What was that dragon thing?" she asked.

"That was what the akatsuki are willing to attack with to get you, but dont worry, I'm not gonna let that happen I will not let them get you yomi-chan...I care too much about you"
*he said as he gently stroke her hair*

Yomi shuddered at the thought of the giant dragon. She wasn't used to being scared but that thing... well... She looked up at Ryu, smiling kindly. "Thank you Ryu," she said softly.

"You dont have to thank me...for protecting someone i care about..."
*he said with a slight blush*
"Yomi-chan may I tell you something?"
*he asked nervously*

Yomi nodded slowly. "Of course Ryu, you can tell me anything."

He likes you. You said that already. Well I'm saying it again, but this time I'm convinced. Well... What? I think I know that! And I can...kinda...tell? Maybe... I dont know! You'll have to help me... Whatever you need Yomi could practicly see Hachibi smiling in her head.

"I..I think I've fallen in love with you Yomi-chan"
*he said avoiding her eyes*

Yomi stared at him. "Ryu...you..."

"I-I don't know what to say..." Her breath caught in her throat a little and her heart beated a little faster. What did you say when someone said they loved you?

Do you love him? I-I'm not sure...maybe?

"I dont expect you to feel the same way...I just thought you should know seeing as the feelings are for you.."
*he said as he still avoided her eyes*

"Thank you-" She paused and giggled. She had said 'thank you' a lot over the past 24 hours. She looked up at him, smiling. "I appriciate you telling me, that shows a lot of courage." She didn't want to mention that it took a lot of courage to love a Jinchuuriki... "And I think-" She took a breath.

"And I think I might love you too."

*he blushed deeply and looked into her eyes*
"R-Really?"
*he asked nervously*

Yomi wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him gently. When she pulled away she looked in his eyes. "Really."

Dum dum da dum. Dum dum da dum. Hachibi... Sorry, you knew I had to.

*he smiled and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her gently back he then looked into her eyes*
"Yomi-chan your are absolutely amazing"
*he said*

Yomi smiled slightly and placed her head on his shoulder. "I haven't done anything to earn that, you have though."
