Visiting a certain person...

She was willing to die, which took a large amount of enjoyment in killing her for the demon. But the blood would make up for it, grinning as he took one hand and directed a palm with slightly curled fingers at her. Hands made of sand crawled up her body from the ground and wrapped around her, evaloping her in crushing sand. His grin slowly faded from his face as his eyes began changing back to his host's, meaning the Kazekage was pushing back the demon. The sand around the girl lifelessly fell to the ground and the Kazekage's, or yet still the one-tailed demon only in Gaara's form, head snapped to the side, snapping to the other side, and then again to the first side it had snapped to. His hands went back to his head and he pulled it into a position facing the ground, staying like that for minute after minute, everything silent.

She stood still staring at him her grey-ish lavender eyes blank as always. the blind coloring the the white eye, byakugan... She felt emotionless already something different then usuall. "Kill me please... I won't make it out of here in time to keep my soul I realize that much."She said confidently.

"That's.. not.. true..." He slowly raised his head and looked at her, his eyes back to his usual ones. White around sea green orbs. It seemed as though he had won the battle against the one-tailed Shukaku and sent him back within his mind. Yet the demon was still lingering, waiting for his chance to come back out.
"Leave.. as quickly as possible.. the way you came in.."

Karina looked at him. "That could take another hour to even three"She murmered and shook her head once. "Gaara it's the only way..."She said quietly now.

((ooc: Lol okay, so I will take the honor of giving her those troubles XD So mean LOL))


"No.. go.. befo-" His sentence was cut off from the loud sream he made, one of his eyes going back to Shukaku's. Half his body began transforming to that of the demented figure of the one tailed demon. His screams formed into evil laughter and he shot his arm at Karina.

Karina barely smiled and felt her back hit something solid which knocked her out before she was being constricted by the sand.

He continued to laugh dementedly, watching the sand that he had control over cover the girls unconcious body. He aimed his nontransformed hand at her, his fingers curling to almost make a fist. Shukaku fought Gaara's protests and attemtps, still grinning and laughing evily as he began crushing the girl amongst the sand.

Karina could feel her end as she attempted not to scream. the sand cut into her skin and she could feel the blood on her skin mixed with the sand. even though her eyes were closed. 'thank you Gaara' she was her final thought.

The laugh continued on as well as the crushing, until he heard the satisfying snap of the girls bones. That was when he lowered his hand and stared at the bloody sand, seeing parts of the girls body, and not to mention the protruding bones, visable from it. Feeling like there was no point in sticking around since there wasn't anything to kill at that moment, Shukaku left Gaara with the mess of the now dead girl.
"No.. damn it.." The red head, after coming back to his senses, cursed, getting to his knees and shaking his head. She hadn't deserved to die like that, she did say a few disrespectful things but they hadn't been to the point where the death sentence was necissary. And she did apologize and ask for forgiveness. What a Kazekage he was..

(since they are in the land of the living souls)

She looked at him and poked him from behind. "Gaara you did me a favor, I asked you to kill me. I wouldn't have made it back to konoha anyways"She said soothingly. "Remember don't tell anyone you did this, I asked you to do this for me."She said her hand resting on his shoulder now.

He looked up to Karina with slightly widened eyes. He seemed ashamed..

""You asked me to do it.. but Shukaku did.."

"Gaara it's okay. I really don't mind. sure it hurt abit but it was better then the numbness that was starting to take over. it was actually alot less painful then i thought it would be"She said smiling slightly the soul wrapped her arms around the living male. "don't worry about it Gaara. My wish was fufilled none-the-less. I know that this is hard for you, but it shouldn't haunt you. I'm going to be happier. I hated seeing Neji suffer. He's suffering more then I was... besides my mother and father are here someplace."She said trying to make him stop feeling so guilty.

"I am not fit.. for the job of Kazekage.." He said quitely, looking to the ground as the soul of the girl he, or Shukaku, had killed just moments ago was now hugging him. "If I cannot control a demon within myself.. how am I suposed to watch over an entire village.. while still threatening them with my exsistence?"

"your more fit then you think you are for the job of Kazekage Gaara," She said. "I want you to know this. You'll be able to do better if you stop worring about it, I'm sure Shakaku likes that."She said still embrasing him in a hug.

With that as a lingering thought, he forced himself to stop worrying. Anything Shukaku liked or might have liked was something the red head would never do. His eyes turned slanted and emotionless while all thoughts were erased from his mind for the time being. "He probably does, and that is why I shall now believe I am the best Kazekage I can be. If my best is not good enough that is the time I will worry. But for now, I will stop worrying. And you are resting in peace, so there is no reason to worry."

"indeed this is true."She said and released him from the hug. "it is really a great privillage to have met you Gaara. Please don't tell anyone especcially not my friend Shika..."She said softly.

"I apologize for Shukaku to have set you free instead of myself.." He shook his head slightly, standing and turning to Karina. "I will not say a word to anyone, no matter who so as you wish. If I ever meet your friend I will make sure not to let anything slip, though I doubt it will."

"She's an inuzuka. a tomboy nicknamed Shika. if you do ever meet her you'd recognize her right away..."She said grinning. She stepped towards him and was about to hug him but hessitated and drew her arms back. "Take care of yourself Gaara. come back and visit any time. just don't be stupid like i was."She said laughing now.

"I'll try to keep that in mind.. I may not recognize her at first glance but after a few minutes I may remember." He stared at the spirit, eyes still emotionless and his face blank. "I.. have been here a bit longer than I should have been.. I was here a few hours before you arrived, so I really should get going.."
His head began feeling as though he had stood quickly from a chair, or in other words he felt as though he had a head rush. "I'll be off now.. remember that you can leave the plains at any moment if you wish o visit one who is alive, though they will not see you."

She nodded. "Take care Gaara,don't over do it. I don't wanna see you here dead any time soon."She said and waved as he left. Karina thought of what she'd do for the remainder of her time. maybe find her mother and father. and visit old family friends, Maybe meet the old hokages, and who knows what else.

Before leaving, he looked down and stood in silence for a few minutes, then lifted his head and left the plains before he ended up amongst the dead once again.

(aww he's mourning the fact taht a chuunin was killed... by shakaku... >> kawaii!!! *goes fangirl and hugs a gaara plushie*)


Karina had a breif reunion with her family, learning what they were like... She decided to leave the plains and stay in all they places she'd been before. Suna and Konoha inclueded.

((ooc: LOL! I'm with you XD So cute.. Heyyyy I want a plushie!! A human sized one too!! LMAO!! Aww, I guess I'll just hug my little Gaara action figure til then XD))

(ooc: xD woot. I was thinking who'll be the one that will wind up being the one Shika'll run to 'with scars on her wrist' and say that it'll be the last night feeling like this, and that she just came to say good bye she didn't want him to see her cry, she's fine... but he whoever he'll be know's it's a lie... and yes I did ask basicly the first verse...)
