Darkness Surrounding

*Malenko stood in the middle of the desert with the moonlight shining on his black robe which covered his face as usual. His puppet Burial was a few feet behind him awaiting orders*

Kani was just walking through the desert, not fully sure what the hell she was doing there.

*He watched as she walked through the desert not making his presence known yet. He began walking towards her dragging Burial as he went*

Kani stopped, listening. She smiled and continued to walk.

I wonder if anyone's here...

*He smirked and kept walking silently towards her. He had Burial walk a few feet next to him*

"Hey Malenko, how's life?" she asked, stopping.

She turned to face him, smiling a little.

*he kept walking towards her then stopped a few feet away*
"Boring...i'd ask you the same but your life ended a long time ago.."
*he laughed*

Kani shrugged.

"I guess...if that's how you want to think about it."

"hmm...are you always wnadering in the desert at night?"

Kani looked around.

"Lately I have found myself doing so...but I just wander around in general at night..."

"careful...there are things that go bump in the night"
*he said jokingly*

Kani rolled her eyes.

"Please. I should know, I'm one of them."

She laughed.

"And frankly, so are you. What are you doing out here?"

"taking Burial for a walk"
*he snickered slightly*

Kani nodded slowly.

"Uh huh..."

She looked at Burial, not quite sure if the puppet was meant to be a dog and either way she was wondering why you'd take a puppet of all things out for a walk.

(I'm just saying for myself that this place is where I went when I left my house when Ich came over. Raku, ignore this, just a mental note for myself)

"No hes npt a dog...it was a joke...I come out here because of the cool breeze and the night sky."

(like I said, ignore it)

Kani laughed and shook her head, then tilted it to look up at the sky.

"It is beautiful isn't it..."

*He looked as well*
"Yes...I suppose so.."

Kani sighed.

"There are only such a few miricles in life...thank goodness that we are able to look upon this one every day..."

*He took his hood off and looked at the stars*
"Yes...I suppose so."

Kani looked over at him, smiling slightly.

"Is that all you can say?"

She shook her head and laughed quietly.

"Whatever...maybe some people just-"

She went off quietly talking to herself about nothing reallu.

"Well what else is there to say..?"
*He shifted a little and looked at her*

Kani shrugged.

"I don't know...I'm not that great at talking to people so how should I know?"

"No clue.. so hows your undead life?"

Kani nodded once.

"Good. I've gotten used to it faster than I would have thought..."

"Hmm really?"
