Darkness Surrounding

Kani nodded.

"Yeah...surprising huh?"

"Yup..then again your my first living puppet."

Kani smiled and couldn't help but feeling pride in that.

"Hmm. I wonder what would happen to others..."

"Probably go insane or suicide."

Kani laughed.

"Yeah, probably."

*he folded his hands in his sleeves* "death is a funny thing. For me anyway."

Kani looked at him.

"How?"

"Death doesnt apply to me. I am the reaper in a way."
*He laughed to himself in a synyster way*
"The night father."

Kani nodded.

"Hmm...I wonder how other people would feel...if they died and then got reborn by you."

"Hmm.. I never thought about it."

Kani shrugged.

"Most I bet would be terrified but grateful, and then the other half would curse you and try to die again."

"Heh.. Most likely but I'd just take away their willpower.. To be honest I dont know why I gave you yours back."

Kani nodded slowly and put her hands in her pockets. She didn't say anything, since she was thinking about the question Malenko had not intensialy asked.

"Maybe-" she started slowly. "-because you knew that no matter what, willpower or not, I'd do what you said.

"No I did not know that..To be honest I think of you as more of a ppupil than a puppet."

Kani almost smiled but wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not, so she didn't.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"That my dear is a question for yourself to answer."

Kani crossed her arms and nodded.

"I don't care about titles so I can't really say."

"Heh..I dont either."

"Hmmm."

Kani stood there for a couple seconds before sitting down and picking a small stone up.

*He looked down at hher.*
"What are you doing?"

Kani shrugged.

"I don't know. I fidgit when I'm thinking about stuff..."

That might not have been the best thing to say...cause now he's gonna wonder what I'm thinking about...

"Have you forgotten that I can read your mind?"

"Hmm. No. But I'm not thinking about anything so that won't work."

She focused on the stone so that they only thing she was thinking of was that. She knew that it might not be the best thing she could do, or the best idea but it was better then what else was in her head.

*He let out a small laugh.*
"Your very entertaining."

"Hmm."

Kani didn't fully understand why she was so entertaining, but she couldn't mull over the thought, not when Malenko could slip into her mind at any moment. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come out here after that discussion with Ich... Her picture on the rock slipped as she thought of her's and Ich's conversation
