Spying....

Kani stared at Neko and nodded at the threat.

"I understand."

She hugged Ich and then let go and looked around.

"Damnitt..."

(I just realized...Kani has no super thing to tell her where Kyo went...uh oh)

Ich hugged Kani back and then says, "Well... I think I need to tell you something"

Since Ich had come up and hugged her again, she was facing the other way. She sighed angrily then normaly and turned around to look at him.

"What is it?"

(I had to finish a post... and my step-dad grounded me for 2 and a half to 3 days... just for being on the computer for 1 more minute... -_-)

Ich started to stutter when he tried to say this, but he managed to say, "I'm part... of... the... akatsuki..."

Kani heard what he said and immediatly pushed herself away, swinging her sword in front of her to block Ich from coming towards her.

"What?!" she screamed. "You're one of them!"

Angry tears started to form in her eyes.

"I trusted you and you're one of them!!??"

"A double agent" Gaiya explained

Kani took several steps backward.

"I can't believe you!" she screamed. "Why?!"

She breathed heavily, angry that she had been so stupid.

"You are dead," she whispered.

She swung her sword, catching Ich on the shoulder before aiming for his leg.

Ich grabbed the sword, and then says calmingly, "I'm the double agent... working against the akatsuki from the inside out. And Kani, you know I wouldn't do anything that you hated..."

Nuada sat in an invisible tent, listening in on the conversation a few yards away. What he didn't notice was that the cigarette ashes he had flicked away landed on the tent's wall, catching fire. soon, the tent was ablaze and Nuada yelped and after the tent was disintegrated, Nuada stood there, his cover now blown. "This a good time to say that I was only camping in my newly bought invisible tent?" he asked the folk.

Gaiya snapped his fingers, making a wall seperating them from Nuada... and a new invisible tent appeared out of the ground in front of Nuada out of the ground

"Heh, he's too stupid to think I was eavesdropping..... Score one, Nuada!" He cheered.

a Giant Wooden hammer came out of the wall the seperated Everyone and Nuada, and the hammer smashes Nuada on the head, making him forget about him eavesdropping.

Nuada woke up. He stood in the crowd. "Why am I here?" he asked.

"You were camping, and you fell unconcious"

(DAMN YOU NUADA! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE! GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW YOU DUMB ASS!!!!!!!)

Kani turned to stare at Nuada, then ripped her sword out of Ich's hands.

"How do I know that you're telling the truth!? How do I know that it's not another lie!"

She stood there, shaking. She then turned and slid her sword onto her back. She then disappeared, following Neko's chakra line.

Ich followed and says, "Here is a way I could tell you the truth... If I hadn't come, what would've happened to you?"

Kani tighten her hands into fists and she kept on following Neko's chakra.

"I would have been about to die but then Neko would have saved me some how."

"And at Lightning Plains with Prince?" Ich added

Kani was silent.

"I would..."

She stopped walking.

"It was all a lie, people are trained like that. You were just saving me because..."

She stopped talking.

"IT WAS ALL A LIE!"

She started to walk even faster now.

Ich stopped and got on his knees, crying because his first friend now hated him.

Kani stopped walking, torn between the thoughts that were racing around in her head.

If he was part of the Akatsuki he could have let Prince kill you, it would have been easier for him...but he could have just been doing that to gain my trust...but he's been so nice and he cares about me...but that could have all been a lie

Kani stood there, hating that fact that her 'friend' was crying. She bit her lip, then, forgeting everything her instincts told her, she turned and walked back to her friend. She stood over Ich, her eyes clentched shut and her hands still balled into fists.

"Ich...please don't cry," she whispered. "Please, please don't..."
