Kani's Room

"Your in a hospital, and I'm here because I'm the one who brought you." He replied, lifting his hand once again, after it had been knocked off, and lifting her chin so their eyes were leveled.

"Are you alright?"

"All right?" She lifted her arms up, realizing there were bandages covering them. "Wow.." Her head shot back to Gaara and her eyes sparkled. "Did I win?"

He frowned slightly. "I'm not sure.. I was merely worried if you two were still alive or not."

"Oh. Maybe it was a tie, meow." Then she realized about the mask on her face and she tried to pull it off. The nurse removed it and then left the room.

Neko took a deep breath in and then saw that the bed beside her's was empty. "Is Kani-san alright?"

"I'm not sure, she left before I got back.."

"So you didn't get to see our fight?" She tried not to sound like a pouting child.

"I only seen the result."

"Too bad! We were both like 'I challenge you' And then Kani-san was like 'I will-' Hm?" She noticed that Gaara did not look as happy as he could've been. "Are you alright, meow?"

"I.. was worried.." He said slowly, his hand moving to hers and holding it.

"Oh.. I'm sorry.." She didn't even notice his hand holding her's. "It was really just a small spar. Nobody got hurt, meow." She hadn't realized the complete lie in that statement.

"I suppose I must be seeing things, then?" He replied, looking at the bandages on her arms.

She looked at her arms. "Well, nobody besides me, meow. But I'm not that hurt. And I don't really matter." She tried to lift her right arm but a pain shot through it and she grabbed it, pulling it down. "Ow.... I mean... Cow... cow's give milk." She tried to smile.

He frowned. "Don't say you don't matter, because you do. And please be careful, your hurt."

The nurse (who was listening through the door) walked into the room and gave Neko some pills.

"They're to stop the pain. Although, do be minded they have some side affects."

Neko nodded and swallowed the pills then she turned back to Gaara, kicking the blankets down so they were at the end. She sat crossed legged beside her pillow, wearing one of those hospital gowns that don't have back.

"I'm sorry I made you worry... Maybe we shouldn't have taken the fight so out of hand.."

"Don't worry, it's not your fault." He said, staring at her. His mind suddenly drifted to something else, and his eyes widened as he looked away, his face turning red.

She noticed his sudden reaction. "Gaara-kun? What's up?" She leaned forward, waving a hand in front of his face.

((ooc: I suddenly feel scared ))

He glanced over for a second, then quickly looked away again. "Uh.. uh.. nothing.."


((ooc: I know what could be up ))

Suddenly, Neko's eyes grew very large and round indeed. The nurse silently left the room at that time, not wanting to get yelled at by yet another friend of the patiets who took those pills.

Neko's smile stretched ear to ear (holy shit O.o) "Nothing but the roof over our heads.." She whispered. "AND HELL BENEITH OUR TOES!" She screamed and did a backwards summersault, flashing a little booty action in the process, and then bumped into the wall beside her bed.

His face went every shade of red as he had glanced over just to get a nice peek of her flash. "....Uh.."

She crawled back over to him and grabbed him by the collar. "Uh indeed, my poodle wearing friend. Uh until the cows come home. It won't save us from the UFO's though." she nodded.

"Th-the UFO's?" He blinked, confused.

She shook him by the collar. "YES THE FUCKING UFO'S!!" Then she turned dramatically to the side and stared at nothing, wide-eyed. "They're coming for us.... Can we save ourselves?"

"Uh.. I'm not sure...?" He said, concentrating on whatever she was staring at, trying to figure out what she was up to.

She looked back a him and then pushed him away from her, slamming herself up against the far wall. "YOU'RE ONE OF THEM! YOU'RE TRYING TO SUCK MY BRAIN OUT YOU GREEN BOOGER!"

"Green booger?" He blinked. "Am I endagering you..? What's wrong?"
