Kani and Gaara's.. Hospital Room.. Thing

((ooc: Yeah.. though, even I feel bad for Kani, so it's going to be difficult O_O))

"Yes, he should." He said, glaring at the ceiling, as if it were Shukaku. 'Ha ha!! How could I shut up when I get to witness the greatest heart break ever?'

'Maybe you should shut up before you miss it, hm?' Gaara thought, trying to convince Shukaku to be quiet, at least for a bit. 'Huh.. your right, maybe I will be quiet. Heh, your off the hook for now, but I'm still watching.'

(yep...no matter how you do it it's going to be difficult and confusing...and Shakaku sounded like a stalker 'but im still watching' )

Kani laughed and kissed him. "Don't take your anger out on the poor ceiling," she said. "It hasn't done anything."

((ooc: Very difficult And very stalkerish O_O))

He smiled, without forcing it this time. "Yes, your right. The ceiling is nice, I shouldn't take my anger out on it."

He looked up, still holding Kani close. "I'm sorry, ceiling. It won't happen again."

Kani laughed and kissed him. "You're funny, you know that?"

Haven't you realized that Shakaku has been odly quiet?

Mei's sudden voice startled Kani, but she didn't let it show.

So you are talking to me? I'm thinking it over, but I'm helping you here. He's stopped talking, haven't you realized? Yeah...I wonder if he's given up? Doubt it.

Mei became silent again, leaving Kani a little confused.

"Am I really?" He gave a small grin. "That's new."

He waited to hear a remark from Sukaku, though, the demon had really decided to be quiet this time. He felt slightly relieved, and kissed Kani's forehead.

Kani sighed and closed her eyes. "I love you," she said softly. "I really do." She hugged him a little tighter.

He felt himself wince, knowing that he wouldn't be able to break her heart. He held her tighter, staring wide eyed at the floor behind her. He spoke in the softest tone possible for him. "I know.."

'Okay okay, I just have to say this. I can't wait until I get to see the confrontation, that is going to be priceless!' Gaara ignored him, continuing to wonder how he would ever tell Kani. He couldn't help but feel stupid for letting himself get into this, for letting Kani think everything was alright. He didn't think he'd be able to tell her, not at all.

Kani felt Gaara twitch a little, a wince she registered, and looked up at him, alarmed. "Gaara, what's wrong?" she asked quietly.

"Hm?" He erased all negative emotions from his face, staring at her. "Oh, just.. Shukaku, he was quiet for a bit, but then he talked again.. hes just trying to bug me, it's nothing really. I'm not going to let him get the best of me, okay?"

'Nice cover, hope she buys it, eh?' Shukaku laughed. 'Quiet..'

Kani stared at him for a minute.

There's something else going on here Kani. Shakaku's not talking to us, but he his to Gaara? Either he's really pissed at you or he's keeping something a secret. Be careful.

Kani silently thanked her, hoping that her warning wouldn't have to be put into effect. Kani put and hand on Gaara's cheek and kissed him. "Alright," she said quietly.

'Nice one.' Shukaku snickered. 'You going to keep talking?'

He smiled when Shukaku didn't reply, leaning his forehead on Kani's while playing with her hair gently. "How are you feeling?"

"Better," she said. "Still a little dizzy but I'm fine, thank you. And Mei's back." She smiled and ran a finger lightly across his bandaged forehead. "How are you feeling?"

I'm glad you're back, I missed you. Surpisingly, I missed you too. Please don't shut me off again. Sorry, but I had to. How did you get around it anyway? Once you were distracted you let in a couple holes, then I just kinda pushed it down.

"That's good.. right?" He said, not sure if Mei being back was a good thing or not. "And I am fine, my body has completely healed."

'With my help, of course. Your welcome.' Gaara gave a mental sigh. 'Just be quiet..'

Kani smiled. "That's good...and Mei being back is good as well. The silence was a little unnerving." She kissed him lightly on the cheek. "I'm glad that you're ok."

"Ah, I see." He moved the hand that was in her hair and placed it on the back of her neck, pulling her close into yet another deep kiss. 'Heh, seems like you can't help yourself, Gaara. Oh well, the more you show you love her the worse for her in the end, I'm sure.'

'What happened to you being quiet?' Shukaku gave a laugh. 'It's hard not to give my comments on something like this. It's just too fun.'

Kani kissed him and then pulled away, staring into his sea green eyes and then kissed him again before putting her head on his shoulder.

"You well enough to leave this place yet?" He asked, beginning to play with her hair again.

Kani nodded into his shoulder and lifted her head to look at him. "Yeah. And I'm guessing that you're all right as well?"

"Yes," He smiled. "I'd like to also get out of this gown.."

Kani laughed and took his hand, standing up and pulling him up with her. "I'm going to go change," she said, then kissed him on the cheek and ran up the hall to her room.

He nodded before she ran off, turning around and going to his room. He quickly got out of the gown and into his clothes that he had asked be brought to him since his robe was blood stained. Once he finished putting on his random mahogany trench coat, he left the room and waited, leaning agaist the wall beside the room door.

'Sometimes I'm glad your so dumb.' Shukaku laughed, being ignored once again.

Kani quickly pulled her ninja clothes back on, glad to be out of the stupid gown.

I still can't believe this. Don't believe it quiet yet Kani, something's up. Mei, thank you, but I don't thinkg anything's going on. Alright...just don't say that I didn't say anything.

Kani grabbed her sword and strapped it to her back as she walked out of the room, then went down the hall and saw Gaara standing up against the wall. "Ready to go?"

He turnded his head and looked to Kani, his eyes looking to her sword for a brief second. It reminded him of his gourd, and he remembered that he had left it somewhere..

He shrugged that though off, and nodded to Kani. "Yeah. Let's get out of here."

'No seriously, you being dumb gives me entertainment, it's fantastic!' Shukaku persisted. 'And here I thought, damn this kid is going to be such an annoying nuisance, and then you prove me wrong by doing this. That's just great, eh?'

Kani walks past him slightly and then turns, waiting for him to follow. "We should go before some nurse forces us to stay," she said.

"I was thinking the same thing." He smiled, pushing himself off the wall and going beside her.
